Prime is an AI-powered study app built and operated by Primeflow Solutions, based in Cameroon. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use Prime:

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile details provided at signup
• Authentication data — login method (email/password or Google OAuth), session tokens
• Study activity — sessions, streaks, exam results, note summaries, chat history with StudyPal
• Usage data — features accessed, time spent, pages visited, device type and operating system
• Payment information — transaction records processed via Fapshi (MTN Mobile Money / Orange Money). We do not store your payment credentials directly.
• Communications — messages submitted through support chat

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Prime app and its features
• Personalize your experience and track your academic progress
• Process payments and manage your subscription plan
• Send important account notifications (plan changes, OTP codes, streak alerts)
• Improve Prime through anonymized usage analytics
• Respond to support requests
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent misuse

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Ever.

Third-Party Services

Prime integrates with the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (supabase.com/privacy)
• Anthropic — AI responses via StudyPal, Report Writer, Exam Coach, and Note Summarizer (anthropic.com/privacy)
• Fapshi — payment processing for MTN MoMo and Orange Money (fapshi.com)
• Google — OAuth authentication and Google Sign-In (policies.google.com/privacy)
• Vercel — app hosting and deployment (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

AI conversations with StudyPal are processed by Anthropic's API. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information in AI chats.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. We use row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data. API keys and sensitive credentials are stored server-side in Supabase Edge Functions and are never exposed to the frontend.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login credentials private.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data including profile, study history, chat logs, and exam records will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes after account deletion.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data from within the app settings
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority

Children's Privacy

Prime is intended for university students aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Prime after changes means you accept the updated policy.
